 Golly Farm offers luxurious 5 Star Holiday Cottages in North Wales, located 8 miles from Wrexham and 10 miles from Chester.
Golly Farm is situated in the small hamlet of Golly which derives its name from the Welsh "y golau" - the light - from the time when the Welsh Methodists preached on Hope Mountain and then walked down through Caergwrle, crossing Golly Farm land, where there is now a public footpath, to preach in the Chapel, before walking down a Roman road towards Kinnerton in the direction of Chester.
Golly Farm, part of which was built about 1825, was extended in the Victorian era and the single storey barn, looking out over seven and a half acres of farm land, was recently converted for the Holly/Celyn and Oak/Derwen Suites.
The Cottages have been sympathetically and expertly converted, and offer the finest standard in holiday accommodation in a non-smoking, tranquil environment in rural countryside.

 Both cottages provide luxurious five star accommodation. Adjacent to the main farmhouse, the cottages offer far-reaching views, across fields.

 Golly Farm is situated in rural countryside - 8 miles from Wrexham and 10 miles from Chester, within easy access of Llangollen, Snowdonia, Anglesey, Lleyn Peninsula and Wirral Peninsula, with good motorway connections to Liverpool, Manchester, the Derbyshire Peak District and the Lake District.
Local shopping is available in the village of Rossett which is 2 miles away by car, where there are a variety of shops, post office, bank, chemist, off-licence, and plenty of pubs and restaurants. There is also a local farm shop within a mile, for fresh meat, poultry and eggs.
